Robert Jospé Quartet - Celebrating The Moment

Sponsered by the Virginia Commission for the Arts. Robert Jospe Quartet “Celebrating the Moment” the art of musical improvisation. Jospé, who teaches music at the University of Virginia, promises improvised performances of original and familiar tunes out of the American Songbook. Among songs will be “Basin Street Blues,” “Where Or When,” “It Might as Well Be Spring” and “In a Sentimental Mood.” Accompanying Jospé, who plays drums, will be pianist Daniel Clarke, guitarist Chris Whiteman and bassist Paul Langosch.
