DESCRIPTION:The Halifax Young Professionals & Entrepreneurs (HYPE) is offering a Career Connect workshop geared towards college juniors and seniors from Halifax County on Wednesday\, December 14 at 4pm. This event will have two parts. \n\n\n\nCareer Prep 4-5pm: HYPE will be hosting a workshop at the SVHEC to provide tools and resources to help college juniors and seniors establish careers in Halifax County. Students will hear from business community members on the following topics: summer internship opportunities\, qualities businesses are looking for in potential candidates and resume and interview tips.\n\n\n\nCareer Connect 5-6:30pm: Following the workshop\, businesses are invited to set up at Factory Street Brewing Company for the unique opportunity to network with upcoming college graduates. Connect with the incoming workforce on internship and career opportunities at Halifax County businesses.
