DESCRIPTION:South Boston - Halifax County Museum is hosting its first annual Pumpkin Carving and Decorating Contest.\n\n\n\nWhen Halloween comes around\, both young and old participate in the fun of carving or decorating pumpkins. Prizes will be awarded for several categories for carvings made by participants aged 16 or over and painted pumpkins decorated by children 15 and younger.\n\n\n\nAll materials and supplies will be provided by the museum for a $10 participation fee. Just bring your talent and enthusiasm!\n\n\n\nSupplies are limited\, so please register in advance!\n\n\n\nTo reserve a pumpkin\, call the museum at (434) 572-9200 or email info@sbhcmuseum.org.\n\n\n\nSponsored by: Reese Farms and volunteers of the South Boston-Halifax County Museum.
