The theme for the opening night is Innovation for Community Transformation. Come to experience the best of innovative STEM-H education in southern Virginia. Organizations from throughout the region will provide hands-on activities and demonstrations. There is no cost to attend\, but registrations are required and can be made online at www.sovastem-h.org. On Friday\, April 12\, registered teachers and students will attend summit sessions from 8:00 am- 3:00 pm. They will be joined by industry and community leaders from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm. Dr. Tony Wagner\, the first Innovation Education Fellow at the Technology and Entrepreneurship Center at Harvard\, will deliver the lunch keynote.
