DESCRIPTION:The Virginia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators in conjunction with the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center will host Super Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. Feb. 9 at 820 Bruce St. in South Boston.\n	\n		\n\n		This event is open to students and parents of all grade levels\, including returning college students\, as well as older adults interested in continuing their education. \n	\n		\n\n		Super Saturday is one of the association's annual service projects where anyone seeking funding for college can receive free\, professional\, one-on-one assistance in completing the federal financial aid form\, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid\, used by colleges\, universities\, and career-technical schools across the country to determine eligibility for student federal and state financial aid.\n\n		\n\n		\n\n		The SVHEC will have computers and financial aid experts available to assist students and parents with electronically applying for federal aid. In addition there will be two financial aid presentations followed by Q&A to discuss the federal and state financial aid process. Super Saturday attendees should bring their 2012 W-2 forms and other records of earned income\, 2012 Federal Income Tax Return if available\, current bank statements\, investment and business/farm information\, a driver's license if applicable\, alien registration card (if not a US citizen)\, and their US Department of Education PIN number if one has been requested.\n	\n		\n\n		As an incentive for attending Super Saturday\, students will have chance to win a $100 book scholarship. The scholarship will provide $100 to pay for books at the winner's college of choice during the 2013-14 academic year.\n	\n		\n\n		Super Saturday is free and open to the public.
