DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, Nov.14th at 2pm\, the Henrietta Lacks Hometown Initiative will unveil a display wall at the Halifax County Visitor's Center about Henrietta Lacks and the local effort to erect a statue of her. All are invited to attend. Kudos to Chris Hodge\, communications intern Megan Powell\, and former SVHEC teammate Natasha Lipscomb for designing and installing this display!\n\n \n\nDuring the unveiling\, there will be a short program and light refreshments. Beyond Friday\, the display will be at the Visitor's Center for several months and may be viewed during their normal business hours.
