Big Ray and the Kool Kats hail from Charlottesville\, Virginia. They are a high profile band that has played gigs from Cabo San Lucas to The Kennedy Center Gala\, Bellagio Las Vegas to Nantucket and all up and down the Eastern Seaboard Coast. Big Ray and the Kool Kats play the very best music from many eras and genre\, including the most popular dance hits of today. Come dance with us into Memorial Day with a glass of Woodbine Wine in one hand and your dancing shoes in the other!\n\nThe Highway 49 Band will open for Big Ray & The Kool Kats starting at 4pm. The Highway 49 band recently came about while Joshua Ray & Philip Hudson were playing solo gigs locally. They came together in March of 2023 with Phillip playing drums and Joshua on the guitar.\n\nCoopers Landing's Food Truck will be serving up a festive menu along with The Cottage Barn Food Truck and their farm fresh\, Virginia made ice-cream.\n\nFor those of you who don't love wine Buggs Island Brewery Beer Wagon will be onsite serving up crafts beers.\n\nBe sure not to miss our fireworks show at dark.\n\nUnder 21 FREE
