Build Your Own Stick Dulcimer (3 String Banjo)
Come spend a few days at the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center's Innovation Center and build you own Dulcimer (3 string banjo.) You will get to build it from start to finish. This three day class is great for beginners, and rewarding for even an expert wood worker. It could be a great way to spark the musical (or woodworking) interest in a young mind. A lot of people can play an instrument, but not many people can say they built the instrument they play.

The Innovation Center (3rd building as you come into the parking lot.) Walk across the red bridge into the building.
Fees/Admission
The tuition for this class is $200, that includes instruction from professional wood workers, all materials, and supples needed to complete your project.
