Observing Session Staunton River State Park

Enjoy an evening under the stars. Join astronomers from CHAOS (Chapel Hill Astronomical and Observational Society)and Staunton River Staff on the field and get a view of Staunton River State Park like you've never seen it before. 
This is an opportunity to gaze at the night sky's celestial bodies through high powered telescopes with the guidance of seasoned astronomers. You are welcome to bring your own telescope or binoculars. 
Please dress appropriately for the weather. Please park in the Visitor Center or Swimming Pool parking lot and not on the Observation Field.
