Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training

The ASIST program is a 2-day training for adults in any community, group, or organization. The program objective is to enhance participants’ skills to intervene with a person with thoughts of suicide in order to achieve Safety-for-Now. The desired outcome for this program is to increase suicide intervention skills and build community networks.  For more information, please go to www.livingworks.net/programs/asist.  
Trainers will be Tammy Marshall and Beth Ann Meyer.  This training is being provided free-of-charge through a partnership between Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services, the Southside Community Services Board, and the Southside Wellness Coalition.
