Election District 1 Candidate Forum and Town Hall

The Election District 1 Candidate Forum will be held Wednesday, October 23, 6:00 pm, at North Halifax Fire Department. Invited candidates for Board of Supervisors include Calvin “Ricky” Short, and Patricia “Kathy” Fraley and Orey Hill for School Board.

Every candidate running for elected office received a letter inviting them to attend their respective forum. These forums are free and open to the public.

​Following each candidate forum, a presentation on the sales tax referendum will be made. The presentation is designed to help voters understand the issues and impacts on Halifax County. A town hall will be held to answer any questions citizens may have regarding the referendum.
