How To Run for Public Office Workshop

Citizens who are or may be interested in running for public office are encouraged to attend an upcoming workshop on “How to Run for Public Office.” The workshop will be held on Thursday, March 21, in the Southern Virginia Higher Education Foundation Boardroom in the Southern Virginia Higher Education Center from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
 
The workshop will include information from the State Board of Elections with Heather Harding, Halifax County Voter Registrar; and Halifax County in Review; and From Candidate to Elected Official.
 
This workshop will provide the appropriate steps necessary to run an election campaign. Whether already running or considering a run in the upcoming November 2019 election or sometime in the future, this workshop will provide useful information.
