Oak Tree Grand Prix IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship

VIR is honored to be one of 12 tracks selected to host the series in its third year and the only track in the greater Mid-Atlantic. The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the result of a merger between GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series and the American Le Mans Series, kicks off Aug. 26 with testing, qualifying, car corrals, driver autograph sessions, team chats, tech talks and more. The Championship will welcome GT LeMans and GT Daytona classes, and supporting series’ include the Continental Tire Challenge.
