Pumpkin Carving and Decorating Contest

South Boston - Halifax County Museum is hosting its first annual Pumpkin Carving and Decorating Contest.

When Halloween comes around, both young and old participate in the fun of carving or decorating pumpkins. Prizes will be awarded for several categories for carvings made by participants aged 16 or over and painted pumpkins decorated by children 15 and younger.

All materials and supplies will be provided by the museum for a $10 participation fee. Just bring your talent and enthusiasm!
