South Boston & Scottsburg Town Council Online Candidate Forum

The Halifax County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Candidate Forum on Monday, May 11 for South Boston & Scottsburg Town Council. The forum begins with South Boston at 5:30 pm with Scottsburg immediately to follow, and will be held live via Zoom, Facebook, and on 95.3HLF. Nick Long, general manager of WHLF 95.3, will moderate the forum. Those interested in submitting questions for the forum can submit those questions via email to info@halifaxchamber.net. 
South Boston invited candidates include: Mayor Edward "Ed" Owens, Tina Wyatt-Younger, Robert "Bob" Hughes, Harriett Claiborne, Joe Chandler, III, Thomas "Tommy" Elliott, Jr., and Michael Byrd. Scottsburg invited candidates include: Mayor James Gordon, Joe Allred III, Russell Puckett, Jr., James Stoner, Connie Glass, and Robert Elliott.
