Staunton River State Park Total Lunar Eclipse

This will not be a ranger led event but we welcome you to view the only total lunar eclipse visible to us in 2019 on the Observation Field. The eclipse will begin at 9:36 p.m. and will be fully eclipsed at 11:41 p.m. The eclipse will be visible until 2:48 a.m. on January 21st. We encourage you to bring binoculars or a telescope and chairs or blankets to view this event. Please park in the Visitor Center or Pool parking lot and not on the Observation Field.
